Aidan Clarke
Aidan grew up in the Annapolis Valley in the small community of Hantsport. Aidan graduated with honours from Horton High School and is now enrolled at Acadia University where he is a math major. Aidan is extremely modest and humble with many accomplishments. Talented in many sports, successfully playing almost every sport in high school, Aidan was previously a member of the Acadia Men's Basketball Team and was a Canada Games Nova Scotia Basketball Team member. He and his family have volunteered for many years with the Stockings Were Hung Project. This past season he and his Dad, Mark, facilitated two basketball day camps and donated all funds to the project. Aidan returns for a second year as Director and Leader. He is thrilled to share his knowledge, kind leadership and skills with the youth attending our camps. He has worked with Donna part-time this year, in her office while in school including preparation for camp. His infectious passion and tireless efforts to entertain and help others are outstanding. You will feel like Aidan is a long-time friend once you’ve met him. His calm, sincere manner is so appreciated. Camp growth could not have happened without Aidan.

Selena Kelly
Selena has lived in the Annapolis Valley her whole life, in the small town of Hantsport. She graduated from Horton High School and will be starting her 2nd year at Acadia University in the fall. There she is taking a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In her free time, Selena enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with her friends. She’s been playing soccer her whole life and has also played on her high school rugby team. We are very excited to have Selena back for her 2nd year of being a part of The Stockings Were Hung and Camp Kindness Team! Selena’s efficiency and kind heart allow her to excel as a leader.
Grace Phillips
Grace was born and raised in Kentville, NS. She graduated high school from Northeast Kings Education Centre and is currently enrolled at Acadia University, where she is studying Kinesiology. In her spare time, Grace enjoys fitness, playing soccer, family time, and watching hockey. Grace and her Mom have been involved with The Stockings Were Hung project for the past 6 years and have been an amazing help. Grace’s positive energy, outgoing personality and kind nature are truly what Camp Kindness is all about. This summer Grace will work between camp and assisting Donna in the office with projects. She will be a lead for the Camp Administration registration and our new General Day Camp. We are so happy Grace is back.

Ryder Kanewske
Ryder hails from Vancouver, BC, and is now officially part of Camp Kindness and Stockings Were Hung family. He was a previous member of the Under-18 Canada National Rugby Team. Ryder loves all sports and is excited to share his knowledge and skills with youth at camp. His friendly, approachable and kind nature will help all campers automatically feel comfortable. Ryder currently attends Acadia University as a Community Development student. He is also a member of the Acadia Men's Rugby Team. Ryder is always ready to participate in any community activities. His enthusiasm for engaging and entertaining at activities for folks of all ages will brighten your day.
Dylan Manning
Dylan resides in Greenwich NS, and is back to join the Camp Kindness and Stockings Were Hung family for his 2nd and 7th years respectfully. Dylan and his family have volunteered with the Stockings Were Hung Project for many years and initiate fundraising each year. Dylan is a huge sports enthusiast and is excited to share his knowledge and skills with the youth attending our camps. As a Captain and member of the Bage Jr A Valley Wildcats, Volunteer Coach with the Kings Special Olympics Basketball Team and a Community Development Student at Acadia. Dylan is a big lover of the community and is ready for any activities. His work ethic and drive to interact and provide entertainment for people of all ages will make your day. Dylan is always ready to help anyone and is always kind. Camp could not run without Dylan.

Leah Adams
Leah is from Truro, Nova Scotia and is excited to join the Camp Kindness team and to be part of The Stockings Were Hung Project this year! She graduated from Acadia University with a degree in Kinesiology this past May, and is now back pursuing a Bachelor of Education. She is on the Acadia Women’s Soccer Team and is a committed volunteer for many programs at Acadia and within the Wolfville community. She was the Student Coordinator for the Kinderskills program this past year, and has volunteered with the S.M.I.L.E program, Blue Jays Challenger Baseball, the A.W.A.K.E program, and coached soccer in the community. Leah is outgoing, enthusiastic, enjoys having a positive impact on youth by creating a fun and safe environment! She is excited to share her love for soccer with those who want to join us!
